Least data, deliberately. This page says exactly what we collect, why we hold it, who else touches it and how to have it removed. It is short because there is not much to say.

Value Nexus, a South African business operated by Joel Gamsu, is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and the data controller under the UK and EU GDPR for the information described here.

We do not run advertising pixels, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not buy, sell or enrich contact data.
We use as few third parties as the job allows. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site itself, not from anyone else's network.
Hosts this site, serves it through its global network and provides the cookieless page analytics. Cloudflare processes request data, including IP address, to deliver and protect the site.
Form submissions are delivered to our mailbox by a form relay service. It transmits the message and does not use it for its own purposes. We are in the process of replacing it with an endpoint we run ourselves on Cloudflare, which will remove this party entirely.
Once your enquiry reaches our mailbox it is held there, like any other business email.
Some of these providers operate outside South Africa. POPIA permits cross-border transfer where the recipient is subject to comparable protection or bound by contract to it; our providers are bound by their own data processing terms.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. Our hosting provider may set a short-lived cookie for security and bot detection.
If you choose which kind of organisation you are on the home page, that single choice is stored in your own browser so the page remembers it on your next visit. It contains no identifier, it is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Under POPIA and the GDPR you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to send it to you in a portable form, and to stop processing it altogether. There is no charge and no form to complete. Email joel@valuenexus.co.za and we will act within thirty days, usually the same week.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa), or with your own supervisory authority if you are in the UK or the EU.
This site is served only over HTTPS, with transport security, content security and framing protections enforced at the edge. It holds no database and no login. The only personal information that exists here is what you send through a form, and that is delivered straight to a mailbox rather than stored on the site.
This notice covers visitors to this website. Information belonging to a client portfolio is governed by the engagement agreement and the non-disclosure agreement signed with that client, not by this page. Client data is never used to train anything, never pooled across clients and never leaves the environment agreed with that client.
If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top. We do not keep a mailing list, so there is nobody to notify.
